Sheila Gruber McLean

Sheila McLean is a senior vice president at Qorvis MSLGROUP and director of the Citizenship & Sustainability Practice.
McLean has more than 20 years’ experience in CSR, sustainability, issues management, media, corporate reputation, advocacy and public affairs. She leads the agency’s award-winning CSR, Cause and Sustainability practice in North America. McLean has worked on social and environmental initiatives throughout her career, from her days as a reporter covering the issues to helping clients clarify their purpose and align it with strategy, build and protect reputation, launch new technologies and navigate the complexities of stakeholder engagement. Her work has repeatedly earned top industry honors.
McLean led Safety and Environmental Affairs at Chrysler Corporation, where she developed and launched an industry-leading child-safety program. She also served as a communications officer for the C.S. Mott Foundation and a senior policy and external affairs advisor to Michigan Governor John Engler. McLean started her career as a reporter, earning numerous awards at The Detroit News.
McLean has a BA in journalism and political science from Central Michigan University.
